En esta publicaci\u00f3n se dan a conocer los principales avances del Proyecto
\n\u00abColombia, Chile, El Salvador: Un nuevo paso en la implementaci\u00f3n de pol\u00edticas
\ncontra la violencia, con actores policiales. Mujeres m\u00e1s seguras\u201d. Esta iniciativa
\nest\u00e1 apoyada por el Fondo Fiduciario de Naciones Unidas, coordinada por SUR
\nCorporaci\u00f3n de Estudios Sociales y Educaci\u00f3n \/ Coordinaci\u00f3n de la Red Mujer y
\nH\u00e1bitat de América Latina (Chile), e implementada en conjunto con otras cuatro
\ninstituciones integrantes de la Red, en colaboraci\u00f3n con la Polic\u00eda Nacional de
\nColombia, la Polic\u00eda de Investigaciones de Chile y la Polic\u00eda Nacional Civil de
\nEl Salvador.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

El Bolet\u00edn presenta
\ndocumentos que dan cuenta de: i) la aplicaci\u00f3n de pol\u00edticas contra la violencia
\nde género por actores policiales en cada uno de los tres pa\u00edses mencionados;
\nii) informaci\u00f3n sobre el programa<\/span> de capacitaci\u00f3n
\nvirtual y presencial sobre enfoques de género dirigido a funcionarios
\npoliciales, realizado por el Proyecto en 2013; y noticias sobre el trabajo en
\ndesarrollo en el presente a\u00f1o.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nof NEWSLETTER 01 \u00abMaking Women Safer\u201d puts forward the leading advances
\nachieved by the project \u00abColombia, Chile, El Salvador: A new step in the
\nimplementation of policies against violence, in coordination with law
\nenforcement institutions. More Safety for Women.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The
\ninitiative \u00abMore Safety for Women\u201d is supported by the United Nations Trust
\nFund, coordinated by SUR, Corporaci\u00f3n de Estudios Sociales y Educaci\u00f3n, Chile,
\nmember of Women and Habitat Network \u2013 Latin America, and jointly implemented
\nwith other four network countries, in collaboration with national law
\nenforcement entities from Colombia (Polic\u00eda Nacional), Chile (Polic\u00eda de
\nInvestigaciones), and El Salvador (Polic\u00eda Nacional Civil).<\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nnewsletter introduces documentation regarding: 1) the implementation of
\npolicies against gender-based violence by law enforcement officers in each of
\nthe three countries mentioned above; 2) information about on-line and
\nface-to-face instruction focused on gender issues designed for the training of
\npolice personnel, completed by this project in 2013, and information about the
